My thoughts on the impact of Common Core

Common Core will force teachers to change their approach to teaching and they will be held more accountable for their teaching. Their lessons plans will have to include higher level thinking skills as well as a writing component. Teachers will also be held more accountable for their student's learning. Students will have a harder time adjusting to the new learning approach, but will benefit in the end. They will become critical thinkers and be better prepared for life after high school.
